It is time to correct the errors of the past and find a way forward for First Nations, Métis and Inuit Peoples in Canada. It is time for a law firm that is dedicated to that one important and timely goal: Apigsituagan: Making Things Right. Metallic Law was established with that one goal in mind. This singular focus allows us to be able to provide the highest standards of service and legal advice to clients seeking to turn the corner towards self-determination, political and economic sovereignty in a contemporary context.
Established in 2020, we may be Canada's newest Indigenous law firm with well over 20 years of experience and ability to consistently deliver results. Candice S. Metallic, the Principal of Metallic Law, has represented and supported the rights and aspirations of countless First Nations, Métis communities, Indigenous organizations, public and private sector clients. We practice in many areas of Indigenous law while specializing in Indigenous rights, specific claims, supporting self-determination, economic reconciliation and human rights. We are proudly located on Algonquin Anishinaabe territory.
